Your Child's Safety
Chestnut Children’s Center has taken every precaution to ensure your child’s safety. From the training of our staff to the design of our building to our rigorously enforced pick-up policies, we go the extra mile to guard the well being of every child in our care.
Safety Policies
- All employees are Red Cross certified in first aid and CPR
- All perimeter doors are locked from the outside but open from the inside in case of emergency
- We maintain a high teacher-student ratio to ensure safety
- Our teachers model and encourage safe behaviors among our students
- No one other than the designated parent(s) or caregiver may pick up a child without written consent and a photo ID
A Safe Facility
- Every classroom and play space is designed specifically for the age of the children using them
- Our entire facility meets all required safety codes
- Every outlet is child-proof
- We diligently inspect and maintain the safety of all equipment, indoors and out
